This sculpture resides at Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 428 Tweed, and is in memory of my father Bud Shier who visted the Legion to see old friends.
Rugged yet flowing, Fathers Embrace embodies both the thick rugged shapes of a man with the flowing lines found in nature. This beautiful piece of local soapstone has many colours including browns, greens, and gold specks flickering throughout.
