This commissioned piece, carved from a very black soap stone, closely matched the colour of the loved pet. The rare Affin Pincer was a very interesting subject, with a lot of character and was highly detailed around the head and stylised for the rest of the body.

My wife Sheila and I are very pleased with the stone sculpture we had commissioned by Paul Shier of Chrystal, our beloved pet. Chrystal was a pure bread Affin Pincer that won many shows including New York, before retiring and living out a quiet life in our home. Every one who enters our home comments on the beautiful sculpture and how much itlooks like our proud show dog and is a lasting memorial to her.
